Curriculum

The AhlulBayt Academy Curriculum is based on a holistic approach towards Islamic education. We don’t believe in simply lecturing students. In fact, we believe students learn best when they are engaged and have ownership towards the subject matter. We consulted with scholars, professional educators, and other curriculum experts and put together a unique and exceptional curriculum. Students will be placed in the same grade they are enrolled in at public schools. Arabic and Holy Quran will be taught based on ability and not age. Students will all need to take a placement exam for these two subject areas. Each student will have the following core subjects every Saturday:

• Holy Quran
• Arabic
• Basic Beliefs
• Islamic Enrichment (Art, Writing, Crafts, etc.)

Students will also be given time for:

• Prayer
• Lunch

There will also be school-wide events held regularly including:

• Holy Quran Contests
• Islamic Trivia
• Guest Speakers
• Celebrations of Islamic Occasions
